You're recovering from a concussion (or several) and the physical symptoms have mostly settled, but something still feels off: mentally, emotionally, or both
You're dealing with brain fog, fatigue, or a fuzzy sense that you're not quite the same person you were before
You're caught in patterns of overthinking, anxiety, or low mood that have started to feel like they're running the show
You're navigating a life transition, a career shift, a relationship ending, a move, a loss and you want space to make sense of it
You've tried "just pushing through" and it's not working anymore
You want someone who can sit with what's hard and help you actually move forward
This might fit you if...

Hi, I’m Andrew.
Andrew Wong, MEd, RCT-C Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate, Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists
I’m a counselling therapist with a background in athletics and personal experience navigating both physical and mental challenges. After years of competing in sports and experiencing multiple concussions, I became deeply interested in how the brain, identity, and mental health are connected.
I know what it’s like to feel off: mentally, physically, and emotionally and not fully like yourself. That experience is a big part of what led me into this work.
My approach is grounded, practical, and collaborative. I draw from client-centred, CBT, and existential approaches, which means we focus on both what’s going on right now and the bigger picture of who you are and where you're going.
I’m not here to overanalyze or sit in silence, I’m here to help you understand what’s happening and actually move forward.
My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without pressure or judgment, and where we can work toward meaningful and lasting change together.
